With the awareness of the importance of environmental consciousness, ORAU continues its activities in the field of sustainability as an effective and exemplary organization.

Our perspective of sustainability focused on productivity is an understanding that develops preventive approaches by determining the risks in advance. Our way of doing business and the perspective to all our resources are shaped based on this focus. We treat all our work with the intent of evaluating limited resources effectively and prudently and producing permanent values ​​within a sustainability approach.

While using our resources more efficiently is a requirement of responsible and prudent management, it is also our responsible humanity duty. We consider acting attentively to the world, environment, humanity, future generations and ourselves as a reflection of our respect whereas using all kinds of resources that this world offers us.

As of 2020, we carry out our sustainability-oriented activities, which we have discussed for many years, within the scope of the Sustainability Report. With all dialogue platforms held during the year, we try to understand the industry’s sustainability expectations and we ask, learn, add opinions to our management strategies and report our sustainability performance transparently.

Approaching sustainability as a strategic management model, our Company strives to be one of the most important actors of sustainable development. We continue to get closer to our goals with each passing year in accordance with the 10 principles and 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations Global Compact signed by TÜSİAD (Turkish Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association) in 2007 and by demonstrating sustainability performances that contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
